Château de la Clapière

With some regal notes in its history - the property was visited by Queen Victoria in 1892, this beautiful château was purchased by another Victoria after having seen it en route to meet the Queen. It is still in the same (Fabre) family, who in 2006 meticulously restored the property to how it looked in Victoria's time. Their top Rosé, Violette, is named after the flowers presented from one Victoria to another back in the 19th century.
The rosés are juicy and gently textured; the style shows ripe red-fruits and soft acidity, with a relaxed, round feel yet enough tension to keep things lively.
