Domaine du Gros Noré

The prized fruit from this Bandol estate used to be sold to Domaine Ott and Château de Pibarnon. However although Alain Pascal and his Father Honoré (after whom the domaine is named) would bottle their own wine for family consumption, they never commercialised it. Gentle giant, and ex-boxer, Alain decided to bottle under the estate Gros Noré name after Honoré's passing in 1997. Aromatic and textured with garrigue lift and a saline, structured finish - Domaines Ott and Pibarnon's loss is very much our gain!
