Brothers Luca and Nicolò De Ferrari Corradi head up this third-generation estate in the highly regarded subdistrict of Cervognano. Besides the excellent flagship Vino Nobile, the range includes small quantities of two 100% Sangiovese selections from specific estate plots. Juicy, elegant and fragrant, Il Nocio hails from alluvial soils while the savoury, intense and mineral-led Costa Grande is born on calcareous marl with veins of red sand. The latter has been selected for the Pieve category as it is considered more representative of Cervognano.
