Ahr Wine Map

Last updated: December 8, 2025

About this Map

The Ahr, one of Germany’s smallest and most northerly wine regions, is a narrow valley carved by the Ahr River and shaped by steep slopes, volcanic soils and a cool climate. Renowned for its elegant Spätburgunder, the region produces Pinot Noirs of finesse, purity and subtle depth. This map has been crafted to support the German Wine Scholar® program, a leading reference for mastering Germany’s diverse and distinctive wine landscape.

Wine maps of Southern Italy featuring vineyards and appellations in Campania, Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia, Basilicata, and Puglia.
