Now in its second century of existence, Fuligni boasts a style and artisanal philosophy that has never been altered. This is largely thanks to Maria Flora Fuligni who has presided unwaveringly since 1971. As she advances in years, she has appointed business economics graduate Dr. Daniela Perino as CEO and relies on cellar master Daniele Zefferini in the winery. While the Brunello demonstrates its charms relatively early on, the Riserva is among the standard-bearers for this category taking years to reveal its extraordinary depth and detail.
