Antonio Camillo

After honing his winemaking skills at a handful of Maremma estates, Antonio Camilio decided to forge his own path championing local, less celebrated grape varieties. He favours refinement in cement rather than wood and the wines shine for their drinkability, digestibility and joyfulness. Camillo has long been a reference for varietal Ciliegiolo. Equally delicious is his Mediterraneo label which adds Grenache and Carignano to the mix. Also of note, a convincing orange wine made from 70-plus year old Procanico (a superior biotype of Trebbiano Toscano).
