Frascole

Frascole has long been a reliable reference in Rùfina. The Chianti bottlings capture the wild, charmingly rustic essence of the zone injecting earthy, irony depths to Sangiovese’s buoyant soul. But the last few vintages have demonstrated an extra spark. It could very well be due to the arrival of the second generation. After studying and interning in Burgundy, Cosimo Lippi has taken the wines in a natural direction without deviating from purity. He has put his stamp on Pinot Noir which his parents planted in 2001 – long before Cosimo got his hands dirty.
