Luca Orsini and Valeria Vignano fled Milan for a healthier life in the country landing in Panzano. Their first vintage was the disastrous 1992. Since then, the couple seems to take everything in stride. They were early adopters of organic cultivation in 2000 and have added in thoughtful elements of biodynamic practices. From their single vineyard, top bottlings Petresco (IGT) and Aluigi (Chianti Classico Gran Selezione) to their exceptionally priced Chianti Classico annata, these mineral driven wines offer pureness of Sangiovese.
