Sesti

Sesti’s vineyards are centred around the recently restored Castello di Argiano on Montalcino’s southern slopes. The estate was founded by astronomy historian Giuseppe Sesti and is now led by his Sorbonne and London-educated daughter Elisa Sesti. Her compelling Brunellos ally ripeness with brightness and amplitude with weightlessness. Guided equally by intellect and intuition, Elisa makes a Riserva when the wine in barrel tells her to do so. The 2017 was one of the vintage’s greatest triumphs. Sesti is also a top address for Rosso and one of the juiciest, most delicious Sangiovese rosatos.
