Terenzuola

The brainchild of Ivan Giuliani, Terenzuola busts up the notion of borders with vineyards in three distinct areas between Tuscany and Liguria (think Cinque Terre). Straddling the two, his Colli di Luni wines demonstrate diversity of terroir through Vermentino. From the lower plots of ‘Vigne Basse’ to the hilltop parcel of ‘I Pini di Corsano’, all sport a salty sea spray. Giuliani also works with the relatively rare Vermentino Nero making a crisp, fruity, chillable version as well as a more nuanced and bracing elixir from the steep, terraced foothills of the Apuan Alps.
