Officina del Vento is a boutique Sicilian project born in 2022 from the vision of the three Italian Masters of Wine Gabriele Gorelli, Andrea Lonardi and Pietro Russo, focused on expressing the unique terroir of the Stagnone lagoon near Marsala. The estate works exclusively with native variety Grillo from old vines planted on calcareous, wind-swept soils shaped by sea breezes and saline influence.
The name reflects both the constant presence of the wind and a “workshop” approach, where craftsmanship, experimentation, and respect for the environment define the style. Together with Officina del Vento wine, the three MWs have launched "Salt West", a visionary project that partners with local winemakers from the Stagnone Natural Reserve, aiming to re-establish the international reputation of this long-time, quality-driven
terroir.
