Tenute Lombardo

Tenute Lombardo, founded in 2006 by the Lombardo family in San Cataldo (Caltanissetta), is a quality-driven winery dedicated to enhancing the central Sicilian terroir. Vineyards are planted at 650–750 meters above sea level on calcareous and clay soils, with wide diurnal temperature shifts that preserve acidity and aromatic finesse.
The estate is led by Gianfranco Lombardo, who has been instrumental in defining its strategic direction and technical vision. Under his guidance, Tenute Lombardo has focused on both safeguarding native grapes, particularly Nero d’Avola and Catarratto, and showcasing the unique terroir of inland Sicily through delicacy and character in his wines.
