Tasca d’Almerita is one of Sicily’s most historic and influential wine estates, with a lineage dating back to 1830 and a deep-rooted family tradition in the Regaleali estate, in the heart of the island. Over nearly two centuries, the family has played a pivotal role in shaping Sicilian viticulture, combining respect for tradition with a forward-looking approach to innovation and sustainability. The estate’s work spans multiple terroirs across Sicily, including Regaleali, Sallier de La Tour, Tascante on Mount Etna, Whitaker on Mozia, and Capofaro in the Aeolian Islands.

Tasca d’Almerita has been instrumental in elevating the quality of native varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Grillo, and Inzolia, while also successfully integrating international grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.
