Arianna Occhipinti

Arianna Occhipinti, based in Vittoria, has become one of the most prominent figures of the island’s new-generation winemakers. Niece of Giusto Occhipinti (co-founder of COS), she founded her own estate in the early 2000s with a clear vision: to craft authentic wines that faithfully express the Frappato, Nero d’Avola, and Albanello grapes on the calcareous-sandy soils of the Iblei hills.
Her approach is rooted in organic and biodynamic farming, spontaneous fermentations, and minimal intervention in the cellar. Aging often takes place in large neutral oak or cement, emphasizing purity, freshness, and finesse over power.
Arianna Occhipinti has become an international reference for Sicilian natural wine, embodying both tradition and a contemporary, artisanal spirit.
