Cooperativa Agricola Terre della Costa Viola

The "Terre della Costa Viola" Agricultural Cooperative was founded in June 2020 by a group of local farmers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts of agriculture and winemaking. The goal is to counter the progressive abandonment of vineyards and help preserve a unique and beautiful area by maintaining existing vineyards and reviving ancient vineyards abandoned for years. The mission, in addition to producing wine and cultivating and marketing Zibibbo grapes, is to focus on crops that are compatible with the local environment.The three partners come from diverse backgrounds. Some have always been involved in agriculture with family-run businesses and companies, others tend the family vineyards, and others are simply passionate and aim to revitalize some of their land. Among the partners are also those who have long been involved in promoting the local area through integrated communications and various other channels.
Over the years, the members have undertaken numerous activities: events, guided vineyard tours, television reports, and promotion of the local area and its distinctive products. The Cooperative manages nearly four hectares of land, producing Zibibbo and other native grapes. Some of this land is located in remote areas with no access roads. Over the years, some of the land has been reclaimed and converted to Zibibbo grape production.
