Domaine Marc Sorrel

One of the few small independent domaines left with good parcels of Hermitage, Domaine Marc Sorrel has been in the hands of Marc’s son Guillaume since Marc retired in 2019. Since 2023, Guillaume has really hit his stride. Solid, traditional, structured red Hermitage here – top red Le Gréal, a blend of Le Méal and Les Greffieux, is whole bunch fermented and needs a long time before it’s ready, so don’t open it young. Top white Les Rocoules is broad, rich and powerful. Don’t miss his Crozes-Hermitage red and white from Larnage too – they are very fine indeed.
