Frédéric Berne

Beaujolais-born Frédéric Berne has become one of the foremost champions of Lantignié, a Village that may well become the next zone to be awarded Cru status. Here he makes a delicate Granit Rose cuvée, as well as the bolder, denser Pierre Bleu – based, as their names suggest, on Lantignié’s well defined pink granite and blue diorite soils, as well as some Lantignié-based parcel selections, a Morgon and a Régnié.
