Antoine Sunier

Julien Sunier’s younger brother, Antoine, is just as talented a winemaker as his better-known sibling. He makes a Morgon, but his home turf is Régnié, where his 5 hectares of vineyards are planted on the Cru’s highly-prized granitic soils. The straight Régnié is a tightly wound wine with an attractive floral perfume, but it’s the dense, age-worthy Régnié Montmerond that is destined to put him on the map.
