Tasting Room: What Makes a Great Wine?
Summary
In this month’s Icon tasting, I get to try one of the Northern Rhone superstars, Domaine JP Jamet’s Cote-Rotie from 2011. It got me thinking about what it takes to elevate a wine from really good to genuinely great, and so in this video I offer up my criteria of makes a great wine, by considering what greatness means in the wider world of art, history and culture, and how we can apply that to wine.
